BuzzBadge To StatCounter

Being one of the two counters and visitor trackers that I use, StatCounter has stayed top of my list for quite some time. It is free, and it is real time! It tracks how many people are visiting your blog as well as telling you:

  • Where they came from
  • Where they landed on
  • Where they left
  • What keywords did they use to find you
  • How long did they stay on your site
  • What other pages did they navigate through
  • Traffic Trend Data
  • and more!
After signing up, you are required to install a simple script into your blog's template level. The script load fast. At least it does not slow down usual loading of a page.

Putting on a statistic tracker or visitor tracker in your blog helps you to understand more of the market. Some of your posts get more visits than others. It will tell you what type of content you should write more on.

The only cons about StatCounter is that it is not totally free. It has a restriction of only 100 logs. Anything more than 100 will be truncated. So you will not have the data all the way back to the time when you first installed the script. Just pay for it and you will get an upgrade on the limit.
